Become an expert in healthy living
In the clinical dietitian program, you will gain extensive knowledge in the field of nutrition and health.
You will be equipped to provide guidance and communicate about health, food, and meals. With sociological and psychological theories, and knowledge of communication and management, you will be prepared to initiate lifestyle changes and enhance healthy everyday living.
Make a life with movement possible
In the physiotherapy program, you will learn how the body functions and how it reacts to everything it is exposed to throughout life.
We all need a body that can keep up with daily movement. Whether we are sitting in front of a computer screen at work, playing football in the afternoon, or parents playing with their children on the living room floor. This enables people to live the life they want.
With your thorough knowledge, you can diagnose patients and identify possible causes of their movement restrictions. This enables you to help them regain movement.
You will also learn about the psychological aspects of physiotherapy, which equips you to assist when patients feel challenged and ill. As a physiotherapist, you will have close physical contact with patients of all ages and from all walks of life – you need to be comfortable with this, and during your studies, you will learn how to handle it best.
Give people new opportunities
As an occupational therapist, you can help people who are physically, mentally, or socially challenged to have a well-functioning everyday life.
Throughout life, we need both body and mind to keep up with daily activities. This provides great daily freedom.
In the occupational therapy program, you learn to see individual challenges and gain the tools to advise, prevent, and create individual solutions. Perhaps the home environment needs adjustment, or assistive devices at the workplace are necessary. Occupational therapy is about making people as self-reliant as possible. You can help shape others' daily lives and give them greater freedom and quality of life.
Make a difference for patients and citizens
Are you good at collaborating with people? And do you thrive with structure and overview? Then you can become a health administrative coordinator.
As a health administrative coordinator (formerly medical secretary), you help create cohesive processes for patients and citizens. This requires good collaboration with health professional colleagues and a thorough understanding of administrative support, which you ensure through good planning, documentation, and quality follow-up.
As a health administrative coordinator, your tasks will be varied. You may handle tasks such as:
- Case and journal management
- Contact with citizens and patients
- Data processing
- Administrative, coordinating, and planning tasks
You meet citizens at eye level and collaborate with other health professionals such as doctors, nurses, and health assistants.
Create connections across fields
Do you dream of facilitating processes, coordinating, communicating, and engaging in interdisciplinary contexts? Then the bachelor of administration program at UC SYD might be for you.
The program equips you with the skills to handle administrative operations, planning, and development tasks across professions and sectors.
With a solid theoretical and methodological foundation, you will be able to contribute with a sharp analytical and strategic perspective on tasks.

The teacher education program is for those who want to help children and youth on their way to the life that awaits them.
We are born curious and eager to learn. We first learn to crawl, walk, and talk. We learn to be with others and to care for each other. We learn throughout our lives, but it is in school that we learn the foundations for our future.
You specialize in the subjects you choose, while also learning to set structure and frameworks for others' learning, becoming a master in communication.
