Do you dream of a future as part of Denmark's disaster response team? Then the sergeant training at the Emergency Management Agency South Jutland in Haderslev might be for you.

As a sergeant in the Emergency Management Agency, you will use your emergency response knowledge and leadership skills to guide conscripts through operational missions and their training to become rescue specialists.

The training consists of modules that first focus on developing your abilities as a leader and instructor. Then you will complete an internship as a teacher and duty officer at one of the Emergency Management Agency's departments, where you will lead conscripts through their training and daily service.

After completing the training, you have the opportunity to be employed on a contract basis or continue with officer training if you wish to further your education.

Fighter Wing Skrydstrup is one of the largest workplaces in Haderslev Municipality. Here you will find a wide range of different educational programs - both civilian and military. With an education within the Air Force, both national and international opportunities open up.

At Fighter Wing Skrydstrup, you can, for example, train to become:

Are you ready for a daily life filled with good camaraderie, exciting tasks, and challenges that push you both mentally and physically? Then complete your conscription at the Schleswig Foot Regiment, located at Haderslev Kaserne, centrally situated in Haderslev city.

At the Schleswig Foot Regiment, you will receive a basic military training as a soldier in the army, where you will gain skills in shooting, first aid, and ceremonial duties.

You will be strengthened both physically and mentally and learn to work under pressure in close cooperation with others. This will make you more knowledgeable about other people and your own strengths and limits. All of this is something you can use later in life.

As a conscript at Haderslev Kaserne, you will naturally become part of the local defense traditions such as April 9th, Haderslev Light Festival, public parades, Flag Day for Denmark's deployed personnel, Christmas runs, and much more.

Do you dream of extinguishing fires and being part of the emergency response team when it really matters? Then conscription in the Danish Emergency Management Agency is just for you.

The Emergency Management Agency South Jutland is located in southern Haderslev, close to the city, forest, and beach.

During your conscription, you will receive:

• full firefighter training
• comprehensive first aid and rescue training
• training in handling hazardous substances during accidents, and much more

Most conscripts also obtain a large driving license during the training.

After completing your conscription, you will be trained as a rescue specialist. You can use this training to pursue a career in the Emergency Management Agency or in a municipal rescue service - for example, in Haderslev.
